As part of our clean April initiative while limiting our impact on the world, we decided to take a quick dive into skincare products and spring routines with our talented aestheticians, Jody Burtard & Andrea Major.
Jody Burtard: “Each spring, I always suggest clients clean out their beauty cabinet. If you have open products, I would suggest tossing these after a year. Check expiration dates and if one is coming up, I would discard. Also, I always make sure scent, textures, and colors haven’t changed - if they have, toss these as well. Most facial products if used correctly really shouldn’t last more than a couple of months to benefit from the product’s full potential.”
“For clean skincare, I’m a big fan of Osea’s products. Particularly the Hyaluronic Serum because it’s fast absorbing to lock in skin’s moisture, which is so important at our altitude. Then, I follow with the Atmospheric Protection Cream, which is also super hydrating. Both are lightweight and ideal for spring and summer. I love the feel of the combination.”
Andrea Major: “My favorite spring routines always include a powerful exfoliant.
